Mission/Vision Statement:
The School District of New Glarus is a community committed to
excellence in education and to providing equal opportunity and an appreciation

Nestled in the rolling hills of America's Little Switzerland,
the School District of New Glarus offers students the advantage of a small
learning community committed to academic excellence in a safe learning
environment. With a school population of about 900 students pre-Kindergarten
through grade 12, teachers form strong relationships with their students and are
committed to each child reaching his or her potential.
Located in a pastoral setting with breathtaking beauty, New Glarus has a rich
cultural heritage. The school district reflects the strong values and character

Every year, thousands
of visitors, including hundreds of Swiss tourists, are drawn to New Glarus to
