Mission Statement:
The Philadelphia Teaching Fellows
is designed to increase the academic achievement of the students
of Philadelphia.

Program Information:
The Philadelphia Teaching
Fellows is a highly selective initiative to recruit and train outstanding
individuals of all backgrounds to become certified teachers in the School
District of Philadelphia.
A bachelor's degree is
required, but no education experience is necessary. Individuals interested in
teaching special education, English as a second language, math science, social
studies, English, Spanish, bilingual, or physical education are encouraged to
apply.
Applications are being
accepted immediately for our Summer 2006 program and interviews are limited.
